KATA is a homegrown Japanese restaurant that brings authentic cuisine to Dubai. Located in The Dubai Mall, KATA’s day-to-night concept delivers a world-class dining experience with freshly prepared dishes and expertly mixed non-alcoholic beverages.
The eye-catching interior has a bespoke mural created by a renowned graffiti artist “TF”. While outside on the vast terrace, guest are treated to views of the iconic Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Fountain.

KATA’s bold menu is the brainchild of the award-winning Chef Marwan Sardouk. Having served under luminaries, Alain Ducasse and Heinz Beck, Chef Marwan brings his peerless culinary vision to KATA, which is then brought to life by executive chef Ricardo Bojador.
With a focus on premium ingredients and contemporary flair, Chef Marwan’s menu is packed with delicious dishes and signature creations. The menu is then complemented with non-alcoholic beverages from KATA’s resident mixologists.
